Peer Review Process

1.The editors evaluate a manuscript's quality and fit with the journal's scope in general after it is received.
2. If the paper is accepted, it is given to the associate editors for feedback and comments from professional referees. Three peer reviewers will typically assess each paper.
3. The editors select one of the following evaluations based on the reviews:a. Acceptance
b. Acceptance pending minor revisions
c. Advise to revise and resubmit
d. Rejection

The editors' choice will be properly disclosed to the authors. The editors will offer the author revision recommendations for options b and c. In scenario c, following resubmission, the review process will start over at step 2.
If the reviewer asked about revision, please notify the editorial office if additional time is needed or if you choose not to submit a revision.
If an associate editor decides to reject a paper without peer review, the deputy editor is consulted first for a second perspective; if the deputy editor concurs with the associate editor, the work is then sent out for peer review.
