Introduction
Unpublished, original manuscripts not under consideration elsewhere are accepted for review by the Journal of Reproductive Medicine and Embryology. Authors should retain a copy of their submissions. Peer reviewers assess all submissions confidentially, and if revisions are needed, they must be returned within 30 days for the first and 20 days for each subsequent revision. Communication with the editorial office regarding delays or refusal to revise is required.
Methods
It is imperative that authors adhere to JRME's manuscript guidelines to ensure their work aligns with the journal's scope and the needs of its readership. While there's no standard template for medical manuscript submissions, sticking to JRME's rules improves the likelihood of acceptance and reduces the reformatting effort required.
BEFORE YOU BEGIN
Ethics and Author Responsibilities
Every author should have substantial participation in all stages of research and manuscript preparation. Each author should accept responsibility for their work. Honorary authorship is discouraged. Authors are required to sign the Statement of Authorship.
Details of the research that ensure the authors should provide replication. Research on human or animal subjects demands written, approved consent. Clinical research needs prospective registration with an ICMJE-endorsed registry.
Changes to Authorship
Alterations in authorship order or composition must occur pre-manuscript acceptance. Reasons behind changes must be sent to the editor, alongside written consent from all authors about the changes.
Scientific Misconduct
Plagiarism, data fabrication or falsification, and other unethical behaviors are strictly prohibited. It is the duty of the editor-in-chief, editorial board, and publication committee of EFRE to investigate alleged misconduct. If there is sufficient evidence, the author will be confidentially approached to provide the relevant documents. The final decision about the publication and the author(s) will be made by the editor-in-chief and editorial board.
Reviewers' Duties
Reviewers are to assess manuscripts objectively, maintaining confidentiality and not sharing manuscript content without the author's consent.
